This is a commercial radio, not a CB or amateur radio. It is intended for professional use on the N9 Northern Ontario logging channels (listed below) and requires a valid ISED Land Mobile License to operate.

Use of any frequency outside its authorized area is illegal and could result in dangerous interference to essential safety services, such as ambulance, fire, or hospital communications. Misuse of a radio channel can jeopardize lives—including yours.

This radio is ISED Certified (IC: 23137-RT85) under RSS-119 for use on commercial land mobile frequencies.
