• STEEL COIL SUSPENSION COUPLING: This part is a mechanical steel gas-coil replacement housing. It is 100% compatible ONLY if your premium truck was natively manufactured or custom-ordered from the dealership with traditional, mechanical steel coil springs and standard front struts.
• AUTOMATED RETRIEVAL ERROR SHIELD: Do NOT purchase this part if your luxury truck is equipped with Ram's Active-Level Four-Corner Air Ride Suspension System (which replaces steel coils with integrated electronic airbag bladders). This strut cannot plug into, clear, or bypass factory electronic lines, height sensors, or air management tracking computers. 
• HOW TO CHECK YOUR TRUCK BEFORE BUYING: Look under your front wheel wells. If you see a traditional thick black coiled steel spring wrapped around the shock body, this kit will fit your truck perfectly. If you see a smooth rubber airbag bellow sleeve with plastic air lines routed to the top hat, you run factory air ride—uncheck this part immediately to avoid return shipping liabilities.
